What is this site ?

Newrevolution.biz is a Web site aimed at sharing knowledge and ideas about how to create a better future for our planet. It is meant to be an open platform where individuals can share solutions and discuss all elements needed for the new industrial revolution, a revolution the planet it pleading for. The makers of this Web site think that the Cradle to Cradle philosophy (as explained in the 2001 book "Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things" by McDonough and Braungart) is part of the solution.

About Cradle 2 Cradle:

Cradle to Cradle is an environmental philosophy that has at its core the principle that all design, be it service, product, architecture design, must have all future generations of all species in mind. That means that when thinking of making a product, for example, the designer must make sure that the product will not harm current or future life. To achieve this products must be made in such a way that no materials are lost and taken away from future generations and no production process harms life.

About the makers:

We are just a couple of students worried about the current state of affairs, and, inspired by the Cradle 2 Cradle philosophy and the ideas of William McDonough and Michael Braungart.We want to try to do our part in spreading the word about Cradle 2 Cradle and we hope that through this site we enable people to advance these ideas even further.
